Beautiful reproduction of a color lithograph from 1870. At the time, Niagara Elevator was the largest of twenty-five grain elevators along the mouth of the Buffalo Harbor.
The image has been meticulously restored to remove stray marks and imperfections from the scanned version of the original Detroit Publishing Company photograph. Image courtesy of the Library of Congress.
